There's nothing more fun than play and what can be more fun than playing with wibbly wobbly jelly! Hartley's Jelly Play kits include a re-usable tray and 2 packets of jelly. Simply follow the instructions below to create your jelly shapes and use your imagination and creativity to build and play. Finished playing with the jelly? Time for pudding!

Preparation and Usage

Instructions to make 1 flavour:

To be prepared by an adult

1. Add a small amount of oil to the tray to grease each shape (this helps the shapes come out more easily) - use a spray or lightly brush or wipe using a piece of kitchen towel
2. Separate the jelly into cubes and place into a jug or bowl
3. Add 150ml of boiling water and stir until dissolved
4. Add cold water to make up to 300ml, stir and then pour into the shape moulds
5. Allow to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate to set
6. Remove shapes from tray once set. You may need to gently use your fingers to release them

If you want to play with both flavours at the same time follow the above instructions using half the quantity of water and jelly for each flavour OR make them in 2 separate batches.
